Getting Started
Aegis is a local supervised AI agent harness. The first useful path is to start the dashboard, configure a model provider, then run a small project or research workflow.
Quick Path
- Install and start Aegis from Installation.
- Configure at least one model provider.
- Prepare the local project or account access the workflow needs.
- Run a small workflow against safe input.
- Review the run workspace, artifacts, traces, and approvals.

- Project chat for asking about a local repository.
- A single-agent analysis workflow for read-only codebase inspection.
- A single-agent coding workflow for a small patch proposal.
- Research Studio for source collection and synthesis.
- Planner views for tasks, calendar context, and scheduling conflicts.
